Why You’re Not Better Yet
We work with a lot of people that have had pain for months, years, and even decades.
They’ve tried rest, physicians, physical therapy, chiropractics, acupuncture, and massage, but still no improvements that last.
So why not?
Most likely, no one taught them how to fix themselves, and instead providers were trying to fix them.
We have 24 hours to a day…so will 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes of exercises, or of a PT visit solve someone’s 3 year back pain?
Absolutely not.
For sure, pain relief, getting joints to move better, corrective exercises, and strengthening is key to helping, but it’s much more than that.
Here are the topics we look at to have a fuller process for helping people fix themselves:
Are you staying hydrated? Eating well for health and healing? Getting enough sleep for recovery? Getting out of poor positions/posture throughout the day that are making things worse? Moving with good form with daily life and exercise? Following a consistent training routine?
It’s more about what makes up an entire day and week that gives you the outcome you’re looking for.
Resolving long-term pain comes down to one word…consistency - working on yourself everyday to get the successful outcome you’re looking for.
What we do is find out what you should be doing, and holding you to it.
If you’ve been dealing with something for weeks, months, or years, it doesn’t have to be like this. We work with all sorts of people in the Dayton area so they can run and bike races, compete in crossfit, stay active in their community fitness classes, and keep up with their families and friends.
At Training Nation, we are teachers that want to show you how to take care of yourself so you can make long-term changes and enjoy your active life.
