When you take time off for an extended period of time (4+ weeks),  you’re setting yourself up for even bigger health issues.

Related to physical health, here are  some wild statistics for you after inactivity:

  • After 3-4 weeks, you start to lose muscle mass and strength

  • After 5-10 days you begin to decrease your endurance. 

What’s even worse can be of even more physical, mental, and social effects.
